Hello again everyone
Wow it’s been one month since the last music quill. No wonder it’s a bit quite around here, lol
Now I know a lot of you would be wondering what on Earth have you been listening to lately that has made you forget to post up another musical quill? Well surprisingly enough, the best 90’s-00’s bands. I know, the music is over 20 years old but you got to love them. Hey if anything I would rather get into a time machine and listen to all the music in the past than sit here and listen to the songs that just aren’t up to the high standards anymore. I mean hey, a lot of artists are the ‘sex sells’ kind of artist. And I hate that. Even Cyndi Lauper does. Music is meant to be listened to, not masturbated to. Seriously, there is a difference.
Anyways lets get cracking onto what bands from the late 90’s-early 00’s that I have been listening to and in no particular order.
- Backstreet boys -you just got to love the meaning and the lyrics of the songs. Especially ‘all I have to give’ ‘I want it that way’ and ‘quit playing games with my heart’ as well as many others.
- N*Sync – another boy band who seem to also have quite good songs, especially ‘this I promise you’ and ‘bye bye bye’.
- Five – Okay had a major crush on Sean in the band. This was quite a good band, especially with songs like ‘if ya getting down’ and ‘when the lights go out’ and ‘until the time is through’. There is more but I have to continue down now.
- Westlife – My all time favourite band. ‘Uptown girl’ ‘tel me what makes a man’ ‘my love’ ‘if I let you go’ and many others too. This tops the list now lets get going or I will be taking up our time.
- Boyzone – I loved their song ‘NO matter what’
- Human Nature – Loved their version of ‘Eternal Flame’
- Eiffel 65 – their song ‘blue’ was quite catchy.
- ATC – Quite catchy tunes and upbeat music. danceable too.
- Steps – What can I say? I love their songs as well. 5,6,7,8, let us go or we’ll be late (ha ha, just had to)
- Atomic kitten – Yeah this one is alright, I just noticed one of them was REALLY pregnant in the video.
- The corrs – This one was also good, especially the song ‘summer sunshine’ made me worry if the couple in the video would actually get crushed :S
- Linkin Park – their songs are awesome! Good for those who are having a bad day
- Simple Plan – Same as Linkin Park but have more meaning and the lyrics are very blunt and out there, especially ‘shut up’ and ‘untitled’ which was used to show people what drink driving can actually do.
- M2M – this duo sings what all girls have in their minds, especially ‘pretty boy’ ‘don’t say you love me’ and ‘the day you went away
I’m sure there are more but I can’t seem to point it out. Although I can point out I was pretty big on the boy bands XD Next time will be individual artists I believe. Until then have a good day/night
